Zen Drums by Kaiser Eckhardt are unique handcrafted instruments with  melodious tones that will inspire both beginners as well as professionals.

Each Zen Drum has it’s own unique tuning characteristics, which are derived from the inherent metallurgic composition and shape and sizing of each note (or tongue)

Further fine tuning can be done by applying Rare Earth Neo Neodymium Magnets to the inside of the Note Tongue if you so desire. We supply these with every Kaiser Eckhardt Zen Drum.  

Kaiser Eckhardt Zen Drums can be playing by hand or with rubber-tipped drum sticks.

Whilst playing by hand usually takes a little practice to get the right technique (though some people get it instantly), and it's a quieter, more personal experience. Playing with sticks produces a louder, clearer sound, best for busking / performance or recordings.
